Raising Warriors and Winners: The faith of an overcomer which attains the impossible.
Faith is the essence of life. All men who come to the knowledge of the gospel ought to live by it. Strange that men do not see its value and its excellence. Faith is the bedrock of Christian life. In taking into account what Christ did for us, Christians live by the nature of what they believe. Believing that Christ died for them, they cannot do otherwise than love him and live to please and serve him.
Great opportunities for success are often lost when scholars try to avoid risks. Youths who concentrate on small matters do not take risks on great adventures. No man can make an outstanding achievement by taking risks on small ideas.
Christ, through His authoritative pleadings at the throne remembers our persons and pleads our cause. His dominion over principalities and powers and absolute majesty in heaven, he employs for the benefit of those who trust in Him. His high estate is as much at our service as was His condition of abasement. He is the very present Help at the hour of need; only He can deliver from death and the power of the grave.
It is a very rare privilege to have the Lord of heaven as one’s own Shepherd. Jesus says, “I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep”(John 10: 11).
Many times, Christians have allowed fear to rob them of the great benefits they should enjoy from the promises of God which must be appropriated through faith. Fear works in such a way that it kills faith in the believer and makes him completely forget the unfailing promises of God, thereby making him a helpless captive of the unpleasant circumstances around him.
The coming of the Lord is imminent. Everything happening in the world today points to the fact that time is short. The necessity of salvation from sin and the holiness of life cannot be over-emphasized.
As we continue in our Christian race, there may be discouragement from fellow pilgrims but we must daily remind ourselves that it is only those who endure and continue till the end that shall be saved. The Christian race is a battle of wits and nerves. Those who make up their minds to overcome every daunting odd are those who triumph ultimately.
Faith is expressed in the bank draft you receive instead of actual dollar notes in business transactions. It is seeing the invisible and believing the incredible. It is reposing absolute confidence in God for all your needs. It is taking God at His word and confessing His words until the promises are fulfilled.
The word of God is the priceless treasure that can enrich our life without measure. It is the bastion of hope for the hopeless; it is the lamp to believers’ feet and light to their path; it is the source of believers’ authority and dominion over the enemy.
Believers in Christ are victorious when they face life challenges with faith and prayers. Christians who pray about everything, every time and anywhere are people with God’s power to prevail in every situation in life.
God is the God of my salvation. I am alive and well today because He took care of me. He is the one who sustains me and keeps me from evil. He is the one who gives me victory over sin and Satan.
Prayer offers us the privilege to unburden all our cares on Christ and receive rest for our soul. It provides us with an ample chance of asking and receiving, seeking and finding and knocking to get the door opened.
Faith can re-write our future. God always holds something for the man who keeps his faith in Him. Let God have all your worries and cares, for He is always thinking about you. Faith is a more powerful force that creates positive circumstances.
It does not matter which man is on your side or who is against you. Your trust should be in the Lord. Above all take heed, that God is with you in everything you do till death. If God is on the side of any man, can anyone be against him or be able to hurt him?
Today is the day of your breakthrough, the morning of your miracle, the morning of your healing, the morning of your deliverance. Open your mouth and talk to the Lord. Have hope in God. Have hope in God. Have hope in God. Talk to the Lord in prayer. The anchor of hope is that anchor that will not allow your ship to stray, or to drift. It is that hope that is anchored by what Christ has already paid the full price for you this morning.
Yeah, that is who God our father is. Perhaps you think, it is impossible. ‘How can you say that old thing are passed away? Could that be even possible? What of this lie that I told?
