An attitude of generosity could shape the way we think and perceive money. Apart from the fact that Jesus says that you receive by being a giver, it gives you a sense of Joy. If you always think about helping someone, it will affect your thought pattern. You will start feeling abundance in your life. This could open your eyes to some market opportunities or career top-ups.
If you will help as much as you can, you will not be enslaved to money. When you try at helping those who cannot pay you back, an atmosphere of abundance and prosperity would be created in you.
We should be grateful for whatever situation we are in. A contented person is one who feels grateful for whatever he has. No matter your situation in life, there is something to be grateful for. An ungrateful heart will hardly receive anything from above. This act of gratefulness is the key to your happiness in all circumstances.
If you are grateful and contented, you will always use positive words that bring joy. Your perception of want and abundance will affect your manner of living. Instead of complaining and reacting aggressively to your situation (such as expressing yourself in a tone like ‘I don’t have’, I don’t like), you will be happy to confess positively to what you want or like. Negative words attract negative energy. Thus if you want to progress and succeed in life, mind your words.
It is from the abundance of heart, the mouth will confess. Therefore it is necessary to teach your mind to begin to feel prosperity even when it is not there in real life. Though It might be difficult to feel and concentrate on abundance when the circumstance reveals the opposite, it is what you feel and confesses in your day-to-day life, that will attract the right kind of people in your life.
This is why John wrote in his letter to the beloved Gaius, It is my desire that you prosper in all that you do even as you have already believed in your heart (3 John 1.1-2).
When you believe the testimony of Christ and seek the Kingdom of God, your subconscious will feel happy and you will attract money and other fulfilling objects you want in life. The Blessing of the Lord makes rich and He adds no sorrow with It (Prov.10:22). Prosperity is contagious. It will come in as a small blessing and then eventually increase. The only thing you need is to acknowledge its presence.
God is love and it is love that governs the operation of the blessing. No matter where you are in your Christian life, learn more about the kingdom of God and His righteousness. The more you dig deeper into your relationship with Christ, the higher his blessing will grow in your life. This is self-tested. I have seen happiness coming into my life in small bundles when I change my thoughts and prayer toward the kingdom of God. I am on the way to feeling happier and fulfilling financially.
The benefit of having enough money could be seen in what money can do such as helping a struggling friend or a relative. Giving to the needy and poor can be so enriching and joyful, especially if is done with sincerity. This is more valuable than just spending on materialistic things which are unnecessary.
If a man wants to prosper financially, he needs to exercise himself mentally and have the right mindset. To be financially sufficient, you need to think of abundance by directing your feeling and steering your thought toward abundant money. But caution must be applied by being contented with what you have and not coveting what you don’t have
Above all put your trust In God. The book of James 1:5 let us know “If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him.” Through wisdom, you can get everything you want. Wisdom is profitable to direct (Eccl.10:10). Wisdom is considered the best and safest way in every decision. Thus any person who gets wisdom and understanding from above is blessed (Proverbs 3:13).
God will bless you with the gifts and potential you need to prosper financially. Always note that God is more than able to do it. God can bring new opportunities into your life when you are ready to explore and work on them. Put your faith into action and start working towards your goals for prosperity.
To prosper is also to learn to be a good manager of money. What do you think about money? Is money to you a messenger or a master or demon? The love of money is the root of all evil but the absence of money leads to suffering (1 Tim 6.10). Thus the mindset we have about money determines our actions and reaction to it. If money occupied the thought all the time with lesser care for other things, this could tempt evil. Thus being a good manager of money affects our perception of and how we think about money.
